🛑 What to Do When This Light Comes On
Step 1: Check your maintenance records to determine when the last oil change was performed. If an oil change is due, perform it and reset the maintenance light by turning the ignition to ON (without starting), pressing the trip odometer reset button until the display shows 000000, then releasing. If the oil was recently changed, simply reset the reminder.

However, neglecting scheduled oil changes can cause premature engine wear and void warranty coverage.
